Is your computer running slower and slower?
Try the following:
First make sure that you have Antivirus software running and that it's updated. If not, AVG Antivirus is a wonderful solution and can be purchased from our Products page.
Then:
Click the Links button above. Download, Install, Update, and run Ad-Aware 2007.
Click the Links button above. Download, Install, Update, and run Spybot S&D.
Click the Links button above. Download, Install, Update, and run Spybot S&D.
Try running MSConfig utility to remove unneeded applications from your system tray:
Click on your Start button and then select Run
Type msconfig and press OK
Uncheck boxes of programs that are not needed at startup (AOL, Real Player, Instant Messaging software, etc.). Be careful about removing antivirus files as this will leave your computer susceptible to viruses if the program is no longer running in the background.
